Super 8 effect in iMovie?

Hi,

does anyone know if there is a free plugin for intel macs that will emulate the appearance of a super 8 film? I have tried the aged film effect but I find that a bit over the top. I want something that looks more subtle but still looks like super 8 film.

I found a plugin called jerk from this site:

... but it doesn't seem to work on my intel imac.

Thanks everyone- I figured out I was reading the speed slider the wrong way- It is obviously the time the credits take to get from one end to the other, not the speed the text actually travels.

I moved the slider in the other direction and it is more than fast enough for what I need. I think I can get by without buying any other plugins, I will just make do with the built in aged film effect.

I am going to experiment with making title credits in photoshop so that I have more control over the static text at the start. Then I'll just insert them as frames.

Thanks again for your help,

Ben
