iTunes can't connect to Music Store - error 502

Since updating to iTunes version 7.1.1, I haven't been able to connect to the Music store at all. I've sent messages to Apple twice stating my problem, but I haven't gotten a response at all. My connection, of course, is fine, but I can't connect. The message I get is "iTunes cannot connect to the Music Store. An unknown error occurred (error 502). Please check to make sure your network connection is working and try again."

Anybody have any answers?

You may want to consider performing the following to be sure no software is conflicting with iTunes:

1.) Disable all anti-virus software you may have running
2.) Disable all firewall software you may have running
3.) Disable all web acceleration software you may have running
4.) If you are connected to the internet via an internet router, please disconnect it and connect directly via your broadband modem

Hi, I too am having the same problem which has only started occuring recently. I don't have a firewall turned on or anti virus software or web acceleration software. I don't think point four is particularly a solution for those of us who want to use wireless or who have a modem built into their router......

Can anyone from Apple comment on this issue?

Thanks,

Gareth.
