I recently upgraded from a 20" to a 23" Cinema Display, but I cant figure out how to make the song templates recognize the size difference. They all still say 20".
G5 Dual 2...but it's got a Hemi,
Mac OS X (10.4.5),
Logic 7.2, Motu 2408mk3, Projectmix I/O, rats nest of cables
Unless anybody else has created them, there are no 23" templates. Sorry about that.
However, all is not lost. Load the standard 20" template in, change the window sizes and do File > Save as Template. Then, when you do File > New, make sure the "Use song template" option is checked. Under the template pulldown menu, select "User" and your lovely template will be found in that list.
Your user created tamplates can be found here:
~user > Library > Application Support > Logic > Song Templates
So, if anyone gives you a template, you can drop in in that folder and it, too, will appear in the User template list. You can even create a folder called Cinema Display 23", if you wish and that will will also be visible.
