*** Can't load Magic Bullet filters

For some reason, I can't get this to work. I have had them working forever, but deleted AE to save space and now my magic bullet filters don't work in FCP. I also can't get the Look Suite favorites to load properly. So here are my 2 problems:

1. Look Suite Favorites. Open a pre-exising FCP project, go file>open>look suite favorites and it opens fine but if I drag/drop one of the filters onto a clip I get the following message: "AE Effects Error: Unable to find plugin 'MB Look Suite FCP'. Do you wish to load plugin from another directory?"

2. Magic Bullet (specifically the Misfire series) won't show up at all in my effects> video filters tab. I'm following this path to install my plugins: Macintosh HD>Library>Application Support>Final Cut Pro System Support>Plugins. I've been told that is the correct path, but when I drop them there and re-launch FCP, they don't show up.

I'm ripping my hair out. Why can't I get these things to install/work?

Thanks in advance!

Sorry if I'm starting to sound like a broken record, but the following workflow will allow you to solve this sort of problem. When you have a functioning OS/application combo, clone your startup drive. This way, if you change something, update an app or OS, and things go south, you can easily restore your previous configuration. I use a program called carbon copy cloner. There are other solutions out there. I clone to a second internal drive so I can easily restart and be back to work in a matter of minutes.

Not sure what I could have done here. I transferred all my files from my G5 to my intel Mac Pro when I got it. I'm wondering if this is an issue with the new Intel processor. My G4 laptop at home as FCP and Magic Bullet installed on it without AE in the applications and MB works fine. So I'm wondering if I have the filters in the right folder, why it isn't working on my Intel Mac Pro at work???
