Lots of features greyed out in Remote Desktop App

I am unable to figure out why I can not perform any of the Copy, Install, UNIX, Reports, and Spotlight functions because the toolbar buttons are grey. The menu items Upgrade Client Software, Change Client Settings, and Create Client installer are also all greyed out.

I can not believe I can not figure this out! There must be some fatal piece of info that should be added to the Remote Desktop app to at least inform me of why these items are not available.

I have the 10 user license, the ARD Admin software is 3.1 and the client is 3.1; 10.4.9 and 10.4.8 machines. I can observe, control, and send messages to the client without a problem. The All Computers list shows the client icon in blue.

That was it. Thanks. I can not believe there isn't some indication in the program itself that you have to be an admin user for that feature.. The dialog/window should have a padlock like all the other dialogs in OS X that require admin privs to change/access that function. The greyed out menu items should not even be greyed out.. If you select them and don't have admin privs it should at least tell you that!
