Yamaha Motif 8 drivers

I am trying to connect my Yamaha Motif 8 keyboard to my imac - OS 10.3.9.
The yamaha is for OS 9 and therefore I cannot install the software for the keyboard. Can anybody help me? OS 9 classic will not work either.

have you checked the yamaha web site to see if they have an OSX driver for it?

check out www.yamahasynth.com for updated drivers

lots of Motif help is located at www.motifator.com as well.

you may have to update the software in the Motif as well (see yamahasynth.com for updates and a description of the process) for MIDI over USB to function correctly. USB connection is the easiest to work with and requires no external MIDI interfaces on your Mac.
