brand new start, only to blue screen

brand new start, only to blue screen

won't boot all the way
did hardware test, reset pram,no workie
tried to start up fron install disc, no workie
wi;; only boot to blue screen, but go no further

minimac, 2mos old, never started before

macmini, Mac OS X (10.4.7)

Are you trying to boot from the original install disk that came supplied with the mini, by holding the C key down during startup?

If so, and it's failing, it suggests something hardware related which given your system is 2 months old, would likely be best to refer to Apple for service under warranty.

yes, tried to boot with the factory included cd's no no avail. back to the blue screen only no matter what, no safe start, nada.
i'm returning the computer to the apple store today
