5th gen ipod 80gb denison ice link question

ive got a denison ice link in my mini for an old 3g 40gb ipod. anyone know if the buy a new 5th gen 80g it will fit in the same holder? most importantly will it charge and will it work with the driving controls?

i have to replace it as my 3rd gen is now fubar, think the disc has finally failed. it cant be mounted, reformatted at, it just sits there clicking and my powerbook doesnt respond.
