Game on iPod removed by iTunes: how to restore?

I have an iPod video and purchased some months ago a game (Hold'em). A couple of days ago, the game has been removed (unasked, by iTunes) but it's still in the library.
It's not being copied to the iPod anymore and everytime I start iTunes, a requester pops up stating that the game will not be copied to my iPod because it can't be played on the computer (?!).

Nothing has been changed to iTunes, the iPod etc during the period where the game must have been removed, except that I upgraded the BIOS firmware of the laptop.

I have a G5 60GB iPod, software: 1.2.1
Amy ideas?
