toolbar not showing in full screen mode

After I installed the Security Update 2007-004 (PPC) issued on 4/19/07, when I enter full screen mode in iPhoto, the bottom toolbar will not pop up when I move the mouse to the bottom of the screen. Is anybody else having this problem? Am I doing something wrong?

The Menu bar hides and shows as it should. The available options in the View Menu are: Sort Photos, Show Thumbnails, Show Toolbar, and Show In Toolbar. When I select "Show Toolbar," the bottom toolbar slides up as it should and is fully functional. Then when I select "Hide Toolbar," the bottom toolbar slides down out of sight as it should, but it does not come back up when I move the mouse to the bottom of the screen.

For what it's worth, in normal Finder view, when I hide the dock at the bottom of the screen, moving the mouse to the bottom of the screen does make the dock appear as it should.

Yeah, it is very curious. Hence why I suspect the Security update to be at blame. Other people are complaining about their computer behaving badly after installing the update, so I hope Apple figures out how they messed up our computers and fixes it pronto. Thanks for your interest in helping me out Terence!

Cheers!

Check out how my multiple problems after installing the Security Update 2007-004 are related. http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=4442703&tstart=0#4442703

I hope somebody from Apple is actually reading this and they let their software engineers know that they released a "fix" that's corrupting their customers' machines! Having to create a new User Account is Not an acceptable solution.

I fixed both my problems! -the iPhoto problem AND the aformentioned blurry display problem. I had created a new user account to confirm that my blurry display problem was software related, not hardware related. From that user account, I copied 3 preferences into my old, corrupted user account. Those preferences were these:
com.apple.universalaccess.plist
com.apple.systemuiserver.plist
com.apple.systempreferences.plist

After a restart, my old user account, and iPhoto, was back to normal.
Thanks, Terence. Without your suggestions, I wouldn't have had the idea to give this a try.
