Is there a way to use OGM Files in iMovie?

I've been looking everywhere, but I can't find a way to use OGM files on iMovie HD. Which is a real shame because that would open up a whole lot of things for me. I've tried synching the files to become AVI or MPEG-4 format with VLC player, but it never works out.... Can anyone help me with this one?

VisualHub ( http://www.techspansion.com/ ) says it has partial support for the Ogg Media Container: .ogm with Ogg Theora video and Ogg Vorbis audio.

VisualHub runs in a trial mode so you can see if it will work on your files to convert them into DV video for use in iMovie.

If I might ask - what creates OGM files - I've never run into them.

OK, I Googled Ogg Media and found: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ogg_Media

For Mac OS-X users it suggest using Handbrake.
