Update or Refresh iTunes Library

I deleted a bunch of folders (albums) from the directory where I keep my iTunes music. The files are no longer on my hard drive, but iTunes still lists them in my Library. How do I tell iTunes to re-read the folder and update what is in my Library?

Hi, domtrump.

You can't. If you don't make the changes with iTunes, it quickly gets out of the loop.

I'm assuming the songs listed are in your iTunes Library with the exclamation mark of death next to them. In that case you may find MacMuse's User Tip of interest.
