.docx support?

Quick Question - does Pages 2 have docx support? I'm still on original pages, but was going to upgrade anyway.

Unfortunately, I really need .docx (the new word format) support at work - or if Pages 2 can support it that's great.

If not, does anyone have a workaround?

Hi

Not sure about Pages but NeoOffice might, though it seems to be at the experimental stage. You could always report a bug to them if you had trouble, have a read of this:

Pages 2 doesn't. But apparently TextEdit in Mac OS X 10.5 will support it when it goes on sale in October. This suggests the next version of Pages will also support .docx.

There's a Dashboard widget that converts .docx files to HTML, if that helps.

.docx support?
