Two or more instrument tracks at the same time ?

In GarageBand, I can only select in record mode 1 instrument track. I would like to play (in live) piano and strings together for example. I don't need to record. I just need to be in record mode. It is possible with Cubase for many instrument tracks together, and I was wondering if Logic Express was able to do it ?

Yesss you can!

Open the Environment window (from the window menu) and create a new object Physical Input.
Now create 2 or more audio object and set them as instruments in the left pain.
Connect the Physical Input with the first audio object, the first audio object with the second and so on.

Now when you play all instruments will play together.

Another interesting object is the Channel Splitter that lets you play different instruments on different MIDI channels.

Let me know if you succeed.

cheers
