Changing feed without tag

Hi there,

My podcast's feed is generated by a component for the Joomla content management system called Podcast Suite 1.1, which auto-generates an RSS feed, rather than actually saving an XML file.

As such, I can't manually edit the feed's source code, so I can't insert the <itunes:new-feed-url> tag into the feed to get iTunes to redirect to my new Feedburner feed!

Any ideas?

The only other way is by the use of a "301" re-direct. Which is something setup on the web server itself. Essentially, when someone goes to the old address, they are forwarded (redirected) to the new address and information is provided that this is a permanent change. iTunes picks up on this and changes the feed in the podcast directory and iTunes client (your subscribers).
Bad thing of course is that this is done on the server side. You'd need the server administrator to set that up for you.
