How to view Quicktime that's larger than my screen

Without resizing the Quicktime Player window, how can I pan the window to view other parts of my movie at 100%.

Are there any 3rd party players that allow this?

Thanks for your suggestions. But I haven't found a solution.

I have an LCD 22" screen, so the resolution can't go any higher.

I have a QT movie that's 2048x1556 and I need to view it at 100%. I must not reduce the image size.

Using Control-Scroll will only enlarge pixels. Using QT's fit to screen (cmd-3) will reduce the size of the movie.

I really need a movie player that will allow be to pan within the window -- like scroll bars!

I'm trying to understand your problem. If you can see an edge of the video window, aren't you able to move the entire window ? OSX won't allow you to move the window up past the top of the desktop, but you can move it all the way left and right and downwards by grabbing the top or side edges of the window.

If you can play the video in Classic with QT 6, then you can also move the window up past the top edge of the desktop.

Other than that, if it's very important to you, I suggest borrowing a CRT monitor to view all of this video.
