Why does Finder crash an restart by himself after three to four actions

Hy,
After having updated to 10.9, i regularly have my finder crash and restart himself after making thre to four action in Finder (trash, copy files from one finder window to another etc). Can anyone say me how to solve this problem

By crash, do you mean the cursor freezes as a pointer or spinning colored circle?

Do you mean a 4 language screen appears telling you to restart your computer now?

How full is your hard disk?

By the way, it is called 10.4.9.

If the Finder is re-launching after a right-click, it is a bad contextual menu item, probably Stuffit. They have a fix at their web-site. Try removing items from the "Contextual Menu Items" folder in your "Library" folder, and in the "Library" folder at the top level of the hard drive.
