Question

Plaay a sound when automator is done

Is there any way to get automator to play a sound?

I have a workflow set up to take iSight photos at set intervals and want to set a warning sound (something simple from the system "aiff's" ) just before the pic snaps.

I cannot find a way to do this.

Any ideas?

In the Automator workflows, choose "Run Shell Script"

In the box, enter:

say say cheese

Should do exactly what you want. 🙂

Thank You! This ws exactly he advice i needed. (Though i still have a few AIFF's i would like to have the system play instead of saying a word.)
