A Philosophical Firewire Question

Which is faster or better to use in Logic?

A FireWire800 disk spinning at 5400 rpm

or

A FireWire400 disk spinning at 7200 rpm

A 400 horsepower car going 72 mph or a 800 horsepower car going 54 mph?

Thanks for the reply, but to refine my question: At what rpm does a disk's data transfer rate become faster than the firewire400 can handle? That's the point at which fw800 becomes better.
