Scala-500 headset and Bluetooth

When setting up my Bluetooth preferences, it said that I couln't use a headset with my present software, so I went to the Apple Bluetooth downloads Site, and downloaded the latest version of "Bluetooth 1.5 Update for Mac OS X" which would not install because it said that I already had the latest SW update. The Scala-500 Website offers no downloads. And I went to Belkin (I have a 100 yard Bluetooth USB adaptor) who had no Apple drivers to download (only WIN), but whoe's instatallation Mac_Man[ual].pdf says that I need a "Bluetooth MAC Driver 0.4" which I cannot even google and find. Does anyone know how to get a Scala-500 Headset to work with OSX 10.4.9 over a Belkin Bluetooth USB adaptor?
