How to make a Dual Layer DVD image in iDVD 6.0.3 if i have SL burner?

PowerBook G4 1Ghz, Mac OS X (10.4.8), Single Layer DVD-R Burner

if your Mac has no double-layered enabled Superdrive, but you like to create a DL-media disk-image, launch Terminal, and type (or copy/paste form here):

defaults write com.apple.iDVD SupportDualLayerProjects -bool true

by the next time you launch iDVD, it should allow you to create a DL-img file...

Not if you own Toast! Just enable compression by checking the box. I've done it many times. I have DL burner but no DL disks because I keep getting a warning that some players have trouble with DL disks.

Sue is right, ... unfortunately, that site is 'allways' down .. but in my German forum it is a well known 'hack' ... never tried, my mini has a DL-drive...
