quicktime and movie trailers page

I have been unable to play movies from the Apple quicktime trailers page for about a week. All that comes up is the quicktime controls that are usually at the bottom of a movie. the movies that I have downloaded previously still work just fine. I have upgraded to QT 7.1.6.

To Apple Discussions.

If your computer came w/a remote, then view the movie trailers using Front Row.

If no remote, please advise which browser & version you are using? Have you tried viewing the videos on other browsers?

What troubleshooting efforts have you tried to recitify the issue? Need this info to avoid the "been there, done that" senerios.
