Wireless not downloading data!

Over the past couple days, my MacBook's been acting weird with my house's wireless internet. Out of nowhere, it'll just drop my connection. It'll still say it's connected, all of my programs that use the internet (Adium, Xchat, Skype, WoW, etc) will stay open and "connected", but nothing new comes in. When I turn the airport off then back on, it doesn't pick up any wireless signals at all. Please help me, I have a final tomorrow night for an online class!
