Cannot add songs

Hi,

I can't add 33 out of 70 songs to the library. Aside from those 33 songs, no problem.

I've tried:
1. Drag and Drop
2. File > Add File to Library
3. File > Add Folder to Library
4. Deleting the said files, re-importing, then 1, 2, and 3 again
5. Uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes

All files were originally mp3s and converted to AAC with iTunes and are unprotected. Hard drive space is 50% free.

The weird thing (example): 5 out of 10 tracks will not add. I delete everything + the original mp3s. Download everything again and convert, then the same 5 tracks aren't added.

Please help, I've trawled through the forums and haven't found an answer beyond File > Add File or Folder.

Thanks!

I'm having the same problem. I've decided to use my iPod on my home computer rather than on my work computer. So I have a bunch of songs on my iPod that I want to put in the iPod library on my home computer. But I can't "drag and drop" the songs from my iPod to the library. Very frustrating...why can't I do this?

I'm confused.

If they were in iTunes and converted using iTunes, why aren't they in iTunes now?

The weird thing (example): 5 out of 10 tracks will not add. I delete everything + the original mp3s. Download everything again and convert, then the same 5 tracks aren't added.
Again, if they are added and converted using iTunes, why are you deleting them and trying to re-add them? Jus tleave them in iTunes nad use them.
