Hi armisael

Welcome to the Apple Discussions!

If I understand your setup correctly, your G5 has internet through its Airport, but a second computer(?) does not have wireless access, but does have an ethernet port. If so, you can use Internet Sharing from your G5.

Connect the ethernet cable, then go to System Preferences, Sharing, Internet.
Make sure "Share your connection from" reads "Airport"
For "To computers using", tick "Built-in Ethernet".
Click Start.

After a few seconds, your G5 will become a DHCP server (with internal IP address 192.168.2.1), giving the other computer the address 192.168.2.2. You should then be able to use the internet connection on that second computer.

Hope that helps!

Matt
