ipod nano with corrupt file HELP!!!!!!!

I can only listen to songs already loaded. I cannot load anymore or delete any. I get a message that says
"iTunes has detected an iPod that appears to be corrupted. You may need to restore this iPod before it can be used with iTunes. You may also try disconnecting and reconnecting the iPod." It won't let me restore, it comes up with the same message. What can I do? I'm so new to all of this, HELP

Here's an experiment for you to try:

Go buy an external harddrive, any model. Connect it via USB on your computer. Start copying files to it. Disconnect it in the middle of your file transfer. Reconnect it and notice how it is corrupted.

So Restore your iPod and resync it. Problem solved.

Perhaps in a future version they can have it Taser you if you attempt to disconnect it while it is transferring.

Yes, Scarrs did say that. Now where did Stasik, who I was replying to, say that restoring his iPod gives the same message? And he also intimated that the iPod shouldn't be so sensitive about disconnecting a song or two early. My smug post pointed out that all external devices (not just the iPod) will exhibit the same behavior.

I'm sure Scarrs will appreciate your post which does provide the info they will need. If Stasik restores and resyncs his iPod I think it will work again. If it doesn't he can use your links.

Ok. Soory about that. Ok, I get that you were responding, but apparently it is still easy to get mixed up.

I mean, I understand that you are trying to help (which your post actually does do, for Stasik's post), but it still had some attitude. I understand that you did not mean to have it be like that, so yeah. Plus, keep in mind I was really tired when I made my post, so when I am like that I am not particularly coherant (haha).

So, sorry for any misunderstanding, and whatever.

My post was aimed at 5carrs, the original poster, not Stasik.

Sorry for the misunderstanding! I hope we can continue on on a good note from now on! (I used on 3 times in one sentence...new record, haha).
