NO DRIVERS INSTALLED FOR THIS DEVICE???

How do I get the driver...I lost the cd that came with my shuffle????

ipods use the standard Windows USB mass storage drivers. the following document may be of some assistance:

iPod is not recognized properly by computer when USB drivers are not installed properly or are out of date

The shuffle has never been installed onto this computer. It lists it as an unknown device. I need the disc that originally came with the ipod. I don't understand why I'm unable to find a downloadable version somewhere on this website...am i going to have to buy a new one? If that's the case forget it...

I appreciate your time and help! If you have any more tips please let me know.
