Battery Life on 1st gen Nano???

Battery Life on 1st gen Nano???

What's the average play time everyone experiences?? After I use it for about 2 hours (starting with it fully charged), it stops... says there's no more charge left. Is this normal, or is my Nano just getting old?? I need it to go longer for my workouts..

Any advice? Do the new ones have a longer battery life?

NOT normal, but your 1st Gen nano IS getting older/

Any advice?

Turn off alarms. Set equalizer to OFF...

Do the new ones have a longer battery life?

Yes... they're spec'd at up to 24hours of music play as opposed to the 14hours of the 1st Gen nano.

Definitely not normal. My 1st gen Nano can play for over 6 hours even with the volume set pretty loud (it can play for 12 hours with the volume at minimum). Try doing everything in this article: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=304681
