Trouble with MOTU Ethno Instrument Plug-in

I loaded my ethno instrument plug-in as usual, and clicked on "loops" and there were none listed... they mysteriously disappeared! Has anyone had this happen? The instrument and geographic menus both have everything listed under them as usual.

Any suggestions would be appreciated! I need my loops! =0/

thanks,
Amaryllis

Greetings Amaryllis3,

do you keep the sounds (.dat and .ufs) files on the separate drive? Check and make sure that these have their aliases in the Ethno folder (should be /Library/Application Support/MOTU/Ethno).

If the menu is empty, the sampler can't find the .dat and .ufs file. You will have to manually point to their direction, by creating aliases and placing them in the above described folder.

I hope this helps,

H.
