Vocals Buried On HiFi

Vocals on songs are sometimes buried under instruments when I play them from MacBook over HiFi. Any tips on how to correct that?

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.4.7)

Make sure the EQ setting(show equalizer) of iTunes (MacBook) set it to "Flat", if does not work try to set it as "vocal booster".
