Powerbook G4 15" Titanium Resale Value?

Hey hey!

I am seeking any of your input regarding the resale value of my Powerbook. How much do you think it is worth if I put it up on ebay? This powerbook is the original Titanium series. It has the original airport card as well and running OSX.3.9

Let me know what you think. If it is worth keeping and upgrading parts or selling.

I would appreciate any of your input. Thanks.

Your best guide is to read the sites I list on my FAQ* that already sell used Macs:

http://www.macmaps.com/usedrefurbished.html

And then prepare your Mac according to the guidelines in my companion FAQ*:

http://www.macmaps.com/selling.html

If it helps, I bought mine second hand on eBay for around £280. It had a few scratches (but they weren't particularly noticeable) and came with all the usual stuff installed!

Two good places to check prices are

http://www.craigslist.org

and

http://forums.macrumors.com/forumdisplay.php?f=14

You might get $300-400 if it is in excellent condition, and depending on the cpu speed.

Be careful about the macrumors site. Any information on it about future unreleased products is most often unreliable, and should be taken with a grain of salt. However, their resources about compatible games can be used.

If you actually looked at the link I posted, it is to a For Sale/Wanted forum. One that is very active, and has excellent pricing recommendations for used Mac hardware.

Yes, but I'm just saying if he wanders off to other parts of the site, some tend to take their word as gospel, which it can be anything but.
