How do I reset my Mac with yesterday settings

Hi there!
Today I've played with a couple of programs that I've downloaded from the internet and I would like to remove them and make sure they are completely gone.
Is there a way to take my computer back in time to this morning, or yesterday or any point where some sort of autosave takes place so that everything that's been installed and done on computer after that day is completely deleted?

Thanks

PowerMac G5, Mac OS X (10.4.9), 5.5Gb RAM, 660GB HDx2

Hi Steve,
Thanks for your reply. I'm concerned about just uninstalling them. They took a lot of space over 30GB and when I click on the program in application folder it only shows me like 700mb. So if I just drag and uninstall it, I will be still having some 29Gb taken by the program files that were left on the computer. Or Im I wrong?

Personally, I use AppDelete but either will do as, essentially, they do the same thing.

Another way to make sure all is gone:

Type name of application into Spotlight & make note of where the resulting files are stored. You can then get rid of the main application using suggestion 1 or 2, then remove what's left (preference files, application support files etc) that way.
