F2 for editing?

I used to press F2 for editing cells in excel with windows and I cant do it with my mac, is there an equivalent key?

There is no equivalent for that function in the Mac version of Excel. (It's not a key mapping issue, just that the MS did not port the "move insertion point to end of cell contents" function for the Mac versions.)

You can only double-click on the cell to edit the contents. If you double click in the cell to the right side of any contents, that will be the same as selecting the cell and hitting F2 on the PC.
