Autcad for IMAC

I am an interior designer currently using the iMAC G5, PowerMAC 12.1. This MAC does not has the intel core 2 Duo processor. I am considering a package by autocad called AutoKitchen which involves 3d images with high resolution rendering. However this decision would not only involve purchasing very expensive Autocad package , but also purchasing a new intel based iMAC.
Technical support for both Apple and Autocad cannot guarantee Autokitchen will work on the new Intel BAsed iMacs. Anyone out there using the new intel iMacs for high 3d resolution rendering such as Autokitchen?

Running Windows on an Intel Mac is just like running it on any other PC, as Macs are nothing more the PCs themselves. If the software you want runs on Windows, it will run on the Mac with Windows installed.

Never heard of Autodesk AutoKitchen. Are you sure this is the name of the software ? Look cautiously at the System requirements and make sure of your choice on how you'll work it on your IntelMac (BootCamp or Parallels).

Depending on the requirements you might even work it on your G5 with VirtualPC-though far slower than any Intel Mac.

Txs for your response. I Probably wasn't clear enough description. The program is autokitchen by a company called microcad software. Their products are a stand-alone software application that include the AutoCad OEM engine.
