My Mail Signatures are not synching

I added a couple of new signatures to my work email account on my MacBookPro but after synching via .Mac with my iMac they still don't appear. The smart folders and other details do synch fine but not the sigs. Any clues?

MacBook Pro 17" and 24" iMac (both intel), Mac OS X (10.4.9), Apple Mail app and .Mac synching
