HASP and Virtual PC

i'm running tiger on a powerpc dual G5 power mac, and i need to run a windows program that requires a HASP to work (for more info on HASP go http://www.aladdin.com/HASP/srm.asp or go http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hasp).

does anyone know about or have any experience running a windows program, requiring a HASP, with virtual pc? if so, do you know if it will work ok?

i also have a powerpc G4 imac running jaguar 10.2.8. can i buy one version of virtual pc and run it on both macs, or do i need one separate version for each os?

Virtual PC will work in the G5, but the speed may be less than desirable. VPC will run at roughly 1/4 to 1/3 the speed of a native PC at the same clock speed.

VPC is quite a good emulator and should run almost all Windows' software. However, I've no experience with HASP so I cannot tell you anything about using it with VPC. You might inquire of the Aladdin people inasmuch as they are quite familiar with Macs.
