Repacking the box

I am repacking the box and find that the little black box inside is too thick for what I have to put into it: 2 Install Discs, Everything Mac and Everything Else. It is just about half full. I want to know what else was there when the whole thing shipped.

15" MBP, 2.33Ghz C2D, 2GB RAM, 200GB HD, 256MB VRAM, Glossy Display, Mac OS X (10.4.9), Final Cut Studio

At the bottom says "in the box". However, if you are sending it in to repair, usually all they need is the machine.

If it is a power issue, I recommend sending the power brick and battery so they can test to see if the issue was the power brick or battery.

Of course if reselling it, I'd also recommend taking a look at my FAQ* before doing so:

If simply returning it to the store, yes, use the "In the box" as a guide.

Hi mbp233,

Within the little black box' there is:

1. The MBP manual titled Everything Mac

2. A white square cardboard sleeve titled Everything Else which contains: a. The two OS DVDs b. Apple stickers c. Software License Agreement for OSX leaflet d. One Year Limited Warranty leaflet e. Airport Extreme Regulatory Certification leaflet f. Europe - EU Decleration of Conformity leaflet (you may not have this one or may have a different one that applies to your country).

That's it. Nothing else.
