Game Question - Fallout 1 and 2

Greetings,

I am curious if the older games from MacPlay and Interplay, Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 are compatible with the Intel based C2D MacBook Pros. I am running OS X 10.4.9.

I downloaded the demo for Fallout 1, but it wouldn't run, but everyone on eBay that sells it says it will run with OS X 10.4.8 and higher, obviously with Rosetta, but I wanted to make sure of this before I pull the trigger and buy it.

Well, the demo was made for OS9, but from the ebay auctions, it says compatible with OX 10.1.4, and as said on MacPaly's site..

Q: What are the System Requirements for Fallout?
A: Fallout requires:

128MB RAM
600MB disk space
Macintosh OS 10.1.4 or later

I'm just curious if it says it will work with OS 10.1.4 "or later" if it would work with 10.4.9.. MacPlay doesn't support the game anymore unfortunately..
