Logic Pro and Pro Tools DAE

Hey whats up.
I got Logic Pro, Pro Tools HD2, (2) 96ios, and (2) 1622s.
I have 48 inputs...
I want to be able to use Logic's soft synths and have the outputs go into my Pro Tools Audio Interface.

I was reading the TDM guide and some questions here but I can't figure out what I'm supposed to do.

I go to Audio Hardware and Drivers... but it only shows Core Audio. Not DAE or DTDM. Do I have to install something with my Pro Tools system to make them show up?

Also, Is it possible to have Logic's Soft Syths go directly to Pro Tool's interfaces?

Thanks very much for any help on the matter.

Hi,

Have you been to Digidesign's website for answers to this? It's their hardware, after all... their answerbase is very good for this type of issue.

And to answer the second question, about assigning key commands. open the Key command editor window, and voila, you can search and find the pre/next preset in there, and assign to it whatever keys you wish.

Cheers

My system is working fine besides this.
But when I got to Audio Hardware and Drivers I only have a Core Audio tab... Not DAE or DTDM.

I called tech support and they looked on the Pro Tools website. It says:

* Logic Pro 7.2 is supported on Intel-based Mac versions of Pro Tools only via Core Audio at this time.

So this means that I can't output my synth sounds out to separate Pro Tools channels???

I'm ready to give up and wait for an update but can this really be? I have Pro Tools HD2 and a Mac Pro. They are too new??? I hope I'm wrong. What do u think?

Thanks very much.

Josh

As for the Key Commands, it was the next plug-in and I assigned them to + and -.... Thanks guys!
