Have transferred over to a new laptop and in Dreamweaver MX have recreated the caches for all my websites, yet when I try to preview any of the pages in Safari, it does not find the file. If I go to the File menu an select the page in question it works fine, but not from the Shift F12 hot key. Works fine in Opera, Firefox and IE, but not Safari. Any thoughts?
I'm using Dream Weaver to an I got the same message when I move the folder with all the files to a other location.
Dream Weaver can't find it after you moved.
Open the file folder for Dream Weaver an locate the file you like to open, right click with the mouse an select "Open with" (Dream Weaver). The next time when you open Dream Weaver from the menu (open recent file) Dream Weaver will remember the location.
Dreamweaver is finding the file just fine, as is Opera, Explorer and Firefox...it is only Safari when asked to "preview" the open DW page that can't seem to "find" the file. It seems odd since Safari is being asked to preview the page from the open file for that page.
