My ipod wont sync....HELP

Please help me! Okay so my ipod will charge (its fully charged right now!) but itunes and windows wont recognize it ...there for it wont sync! I really want my new songs on my ipod!
I have tried EVERYTHING...im not even joking....i have done all the things that the sight has told me to do...im wondering if they are keeping some tips from me...y isnt my ipod being recognized by itunes or the computer itself!! AHHHHHHH

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP....im stressing here!

Have you reset it while connected to your computer?

Forced it into disk mode?

Reformatted in Windows (FAT32, not a quick format)?

i have done ALL of those things and Itunes still doesnt recognize it...HELP!

It still hasn't completely answered my question...but that definitly helped...THANK U SO MUCH...!!!

I'll c if my ipod will be recognized in the next 30 min. and if it isnt i guess i will have to service it!!

Hey,

Last night my computer wouldnt sync my ipod.And i did all the steps listed but then i went and ran a dignostic test on my ipod. This can be done through opening Itunes and then in the help menu click on run diagnostic.. Then when it did that, it said my ipod wouldnt connect properly and then i clicked on the show help. It took me to this page (link provided below)

Then i clicked on the first option which is 'Restart the ipod service' After doin that my ipod has been working fine ever since. Thought you might like to try it if you havent already sorted out the problem.
