Extract the MP3 sound

Hello,

I have a Quicktime movie from YouTube that I want to use in a project in FCE.
However, the sound have blips when I render in FCE.
How can I extract the sound from the Quicktime movie before I get it into FCE so I can convert the sound to AIFF that works better in FCE?

Thanks / Christer

How can I extract the sound from the Quicktime movie before I get it into FCE ...

You need QuickTime Pro: then you can Export/From Sound to AIFF, and make sure its Options are: Format: Linear PCM, Channels: Stereo, Frequency: 48.000 Hz, 16-bit.

About using YouTube movies make sure you read carefully the license agreement; as far as I know in general you are not allowed to download them...
