need cool icons

were can i get cool icons to replace the ones i have? anybody know how to do it also?

See here, here, and here for icons; to use an icon, copy it to the clipboard, select the item you want to put the icon on in the Finder, choose Get Info from the File menu, click on its icon, and press the Command and V keys simultaneously. Other types of icons can be customized with CandyBar.

i have a quick question i tried to download some of those icons but i gave me a "may contain a appication" so i continued with the download but on my desktop there is the download but it there is no spefied application, then it says choose, what do i do?

That's because you are supposed to get the icon from the "Get Info" menu. When you double click on the file, it is trying to open it up for editing. Also, a great application for customizing your icons is LiteIcon.
