Overclocking Core2Duo
Does anyone know of a way to overclock the Core 2 Duo processor in one of these new intel iMacs. I have the 24inch iMac with a Core2Duo processor @ 2.16ghz.
I've been reading that since Mac's use EFI instead of a BIOS like a standard PC, it becomes a little bit difficult. I remember however in my old G4 Quicksilver, you were able to remove a few resistors near the processor which changed the multiplier settings on the processor. Any idea if this can still be done on the iMac.
Any info or suggestions would be appreciated, Thanks
Vince
P.S. i have no issue taking this iMac apart.
