QUAD G5 -installing ati radeon 1900xt from applestore

I need some help -called ATI said see apple-before I call - here I am - I bought a radeon 1900 xt g5 PCIexpress for my QUAD g5 and went to install it and noted that the aux power cord they give you needs connected directly to a "spare" power jack (12v six pin) on the motherboard or power supply but I COULD NOT FIND ONE - ATI says buy a Y splitter and split off one of my drive jacks - IS THERE ANYONE WHO HAS DONE THIS?? is it safe? where do I get a splitter cord?

HELP

The G5 and MP Radeon X1900 are not interchangeable. The G5 version is the X1900GT ( ATI retail boxed marked X1900 G5 mac edition ) with an Open Firmware based ROM, while the MP version is X1900XT ( Apple OEM packaging ) with an EFI based ROM.

The graphics card power connector is near the PCI-e card guide toward the front of the machine, on the upper edge of the MLB.

Thank you also Forrest

i found it after having to take out the smaller fan with the little speaker - it was behind it up in the right corner - (but i guess you already knew that)

this is not clearly shown anywhere and it is just mentioned in the ATI install instructions but according to the ATI tech - I WOULD HAVE FRIED MY BOARD if i didn't plug in aux power cord - how can we tell others here?
