How about a new Safari for us Panther users?

Yes, I haven't upgraded to 10.4, but come on. I have been pretty much forced to switch to firefox because the number of websites that don't work with Safari continues to grow. For instance realtor.com doesn't work at all with Safari. It just says please wait next to the search button...Firefox works no problem. how about keeping safari up to date for us panther users too?

I have no problems to enter the website 'realtor.com' is loading without any delay. I'm using Panther>Safari 1.3.2

Did you trash the Safari Cache folder (Completely)

Do you shutdown you Mac overnights?? When this is a YES, than the build-inn maintenance's program can not run. To do this in the daly hours you can use MacJanitor.

MacJanitor it's for to download an using. When you run it for the first time it will take a little longer, about 5 to 10 min maximum. But is well worth it.

** What do you for regular maintenances ??

The page loads fine, but "please wait" is displayed right below the orange search button near the top of the page, right below "Baths". That prevents me from actually doing a search from the front page. So you don't see that? I'll try emptying my cache. No, I don't shut my computer down at night.

Hello marcus:

I am not an apologist for corporations (Apple or any other) but good business practice indicates that finite resources are invested in your latest products. OS X 10.4 has been out for quite awhile (as has Safari 2.x.x)

I suggest you follow Dimaxum's excellent suggestions. One of them may help your with your problem.

Ok, emptied the cache, reset safari, trashed .com.safari.plist file and still realtor.com doesnt' work right. Firefox works fine though....

Did trash the whole Safari cache folder, ore just the little folder from 1 to 15

You need to trash the complete Safari folder in the Cache folder.

* How are you connected to the internet ??

I just did "empty cache" inside safari. Are you saying trash the cache folder? What is the path to the cache folder? I'm connected via high speed DSL over a wireless connection.

I'm running Norton disc doctor as we speak

NOT, the complete Cache folder, only completely the SAFARI 'CACHE' FOLDER

* Did you notice any improvement by trashing the cache from Safari as you did?

No only the whole SAFARI FOLDER, including the folder him self ... read my earlier post to you.
