Safari and Yahoo Mail beta

While its nice that Safari is "blazing fast", it is rather annoying that it doesn't work with Yahoo Mail beta. I would probably start using Safari more often than Firefox if it did.

Are there any plans to fix this in the new version?

Macbook Pro, Mac OS X (10.4.9)

The onus is on Yahoo to make its code for their "Beta" version of Mail compatible with Safari. Yahoo has said in the past that was their intention. However, as you see, to date nothing has changed. Alternative is to use Firefox to access this feature.

I am confused here, sorry.
I use Yahoo email on Safari 2.0.4. I mean I don't get the smiley faces but I can live without them. Did the new Safari 3 Beta not support Yahoo mail?

Hi

It supports Yahoo Mail, however, not the version allowing you to customize your e-mail with different fonts, smiley faces etc., nor the Beta version that resembles Microsoft's Entourage.
