Messages on new IPhone

Had same ID as my husband on a previous phone. Now got new iPhone and new individual Apple ID. Can’t see my messages history on new phone. Presuming it is backed up on the old ID. How can I get it from the old ID to my new ID?

You cannot as the message history will be tied to your spouse's Apple ID, not your newly created Apple ID.
