Is it possible to return Apple AirPods Max Headphones for a full refund?

Good Afternoon,

Is there any chance I can return my AirPods Max Headphones for a full refund? I previously bought one about two years ago and it spontaneously stopped working, Apple Store specialist said "water damage," even though I never let them get damp/wet and avoid using them entirely when I'm sweating. For some reason, these headphones, despite costing an arm & a leg, are designed with no water-resistance or viable troubleshooting. The second pair, after returning my previous pair, has suddenly stopped working a couple weeks ago, and only works *sometimes* after about a year despite no visible damage or negligence. I don't even use these headphones a lot. Are there any return options for a full refund? Any suggestions? I've always had trouble with Apple Airpods/Headphones.

Water in AirPods:

There are "water resistant" --not "Water Proof". Water proof is what seems to meet your expectations. Go Here: About the Sweat and Water Resistance of AirPods Pro and AirPods (3rd generation) - Apple Support. The link tells you what to do, if contacted in water, based on particular scenarios.

Thank you for the followup reply.

To Clarify:

Regardless of the model, as I said: "The link tells you what to do, if contacted in water, based on particular scenarios." So, use what is provided in the link.
