Hi,
I want to make a call using the iPhone speaker. I took my AirPods off, turned Bluetooth off on my iPhone, and started the call. I even selected my iPhone speaker as the output. However, when the call connected, my iPhone automatically turned Bluetooth back on and reconnected to my AirPods.
Is this an intended feature or a bug? How can I prevent this from happening?

You would need to turn off bluetooth via settings and not from the control center.
